Mr. Miller holds multiple professional certifications in amusement ride inspection and operations, including AIMS International Certified Ride Inspector Level II, NAARSO Certified Amusement Ride Safety Inspector Level II, ACCT Professional Inspector, AIMS International Certified Operations Technician Level II, AIMS International Certified Adventure Attractions Inspector, AIMS F770 Certificate, and IOA, Inflatable Operators Association Owner/Operator Level 1 Certification. These certifications reflect advanced training in the inspection, operation, and safety evaluation of amusement rides and adventure attractions.

Mr. Miller’s areas of expertise include the inspection and safety evaluation of trampoline parks, inflatable amusement devices, airbags, foam pits, go-karts, rock walls, zip lines, ropes courses, trackless trains, bounce houses, obstacle courses, mechanical bulls, stunt jumps, inflatable slides, dry slides, and a wide variety of other amusement rides and recreational attractions. His work focuses on identifying hazards, evaluating operational practices, and applying recognized industry standards and regulatory requirements to improve safety and risk management.

Mr. Miller is an active member of ASTM F24 (amusement devices), F15, and F08.

In addition to his consulting work, Mr. Miller serves as an instructor for several industry organizations, including AIMS International, NAARSO, the Pennsylvania Amusement Ride Safety Seminar, and the Inflatable Operators Association, where he teaches courses on amusement ride safety, inspection practices, operational risk management, and industry standards to inspectors, regulators, and industry professionals throughout the United States.

Mr. Miller began his career serving as a firefighter in the United States Air Force, where he developed a strong foundation in emergency response, hazard recognition, and public safety. This experience continues to influence his practical and safety-focused approach to amusement device inspections, safety evaluations, and incident analysis. He is a disabled veteran from his time in the Air Force.

He holds a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Denver Theological Seminary, a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Colorado Christian University, and an Associate of Applied Science in Fire Science Technology from Red Rocks Community College.

Through his work at Miller Safety Inspections & Consulting, Mr. Miller assists facility operators, regulators, insurance carriers, and legal professionals in understanding the safety requirements and operational risks associated with amusement attractions, with the goal of improving safety and preventing injuries.
